A general view of Llanfair Caereinion station looking northeast towards Welshpool

Railway buildings from left to right are: signalbox, engine shed, engineering office, Keyes Cottage and in the right foreground the workshops. The industrial buildings beyond Keyes Cottage belong to Colinette Yarns and C&M Transport. Just beyond the signalbox the home signal has been "pulled off" for the train from Welshpool.

In front of the workshops stand diesel locomotives: 16 (Scooby/Scwbi) and 17
