Ex Sierra Leone Government Railway locomotive No. 85 slumbers in the shed at Llanfair.
Built by Hunslet in 1954
Repatriated to the UK in 1975

Built in 1949 at Burton-upon-Trent
by E E Baguley Ltd. on behalf of the Drewry Car Co. for the
Admiralty.
It initially worked on the Lodge Hill & Upnor Railway in Kent
and then had short spells at Ernsettle in Devon and Broughton
Moor in Cumbria.
The locomotive came to the W&LLR in 1968.
Wheel arrangement 0-6-0 with
jackshaft drive
Gardner 6LXB diesel engine rated at 150hp
Transmission consists of a fluid flywheel, freewheel, 4 speed
gearbox and a forward/reverse final drive gearbox
Weight in working order 13 tons
