The chimney on the Hunslet 2-6-2 ex Sierra Leone Railway has been in a bad state for a long time. The cast iron cap is badly cracked and the sheet steel parts seriously corroded. The whole lot is to be replaced with new parts.

The pictures on this page show the section containing the cap being cut away.
